People just plainly do not trust businesses for a variety of reasons one of which is navigation that is hard to understand and generally deal with on your site. You need to make it easy for your visitors to navigate through your blog, and also ensure the search function is working well. You know how it is, you only get one chance to make a good, first impression. However with that mentioned, we also have to say that in many cases it is hard to mess up the navigation on a blog just because so much is more or less automated.

Now the biggie is content, and we all know that bad content will almost immediately spell disaster. If you're going to give them content that everybody else is giving then they'll have no reason to trust you for quality. If you are serious about your business, then it follows that your content will be the best it can be. Strive to wow people with information they will never have heard of before. Content is so huge and such an issue for many people that you can quite handily become well known in your market. The other side of that equation for content necessitates it to have meaning for your readers.

Do that and provide sources, and people will learn they can trust what you have to say pretty quickly.

The first thing that new readers will do as soon as they reach your blog is check out your bio to see what your background is, and who you actually are. People do want to know about the business end of things, but they also respond quite positively when there is something about you and of course a good photo. No need to go on and on about your life, but just something like two or three hundred words should suffice quite well. Each person will have their own personal feelings and responses to your bio, but the only thing that matters is that it is there. Just being simply open and honest with your readers at all times will make a surprisingly strong impact.
